LAKES SKINK - Lake Benmore, Ohau Delta

Postby Brent Stephenson » Tue Dec 15, 2009 11:24 pm

Hi all,

Whilst looking for black stilt and other bits and pieces today (14 Dec) we found a LAKES SKINK amongst the boulders and grass near the Ohau Delta on Lake Benmore. First time I have seen this species here (or anywhere for that matter). Nice looking skink, obviously out making the most of the warmth.

Cheers,

A nice lizard all right. Good spotting.
