Just in case you missed the post in the general section we are trying to get support behind the NZ Big Day birdathon and want you guys to get involved.

so any help and ideas or suggestion would be great

Super keen if I can find a team, t-shirts is an awesome idea! It would be cool if you could get the regional records out there as well so those of us who maybe can't travel so far can still have a reasonable crack.

Yes well in to the future could have categories like only use public transport.

There already is a public-transport record of 62 :) :)
