Stoat at my house. Chch city

Postby chris » Wed Apr 25, 2018 9:53 am

I just saw a stoat up the path to my letterbox. Im half way up a street called The Brae(scottish for track) in the nrt west side of mount pleasant christcurch.im proud of the birdlfe in my area especially the kingfishers and bellbirds. In fact a good variety of birds occur here and am overlooking the estuary too. Im well deep in the suburb and seeing a stoat here in such a peopled place is quite disturbing too me. Is there anyone out there that can assist me in this and any other stoats erradication. To me it brings to life the difficult task of the goal of predator free nz. oh its back. Im looking at it right now. If anyone can help please do. Just fone me. 0220195915. My name is Chris

Hi Chris, the summit rd society have a project called "predator free port hills" and are very keen to meet people like yourself and mobilise residents on rhe port hills to become involved to a degree that suits in predator control. Look up this Web link: http://www.summitroadsociety.org.nz/pre ... ort-hills/

Thankyou for a great tip. I handed it off to my landlord and he has secured a trap.
