Shot the leg and later put down.
Mention of duck shooting season.

I took this bird down to wild base at Massey. It was well before duck shooting season opened. Every year we get a young bird or two move into the area and every year some pigeon fancier shoots them. Any penalty for shooting falcons should include a lifetime ban on keeping pidgins.
