Tui in Auckland's Eden Gardens

Postby The Laird » Tue Aug 07, 2018 3:10 pm

A colleague in Auckland sent me this video clip of Tuis feeding on flowering cherries in Eden Gardens in Epsom. He said there were "so many Tuis that a light rain was falling out of the trees which was nectar, with the sugar extracted, being pooped out as pure water by 500 Tuis! No chalky white guano, it didnt leave a trace as it evaporated off the concrete and shoulders of my jacket"
