rangefinders

Postby birdingnzer » Wed Jul 29, 2009 11:41 am

Hi all. Hoping for some advice :) I'm about to embark on some distance sampling, and so am looking at getting a rangefinder. I'm thinking that it is a good idea to get binoculars with a rangefinder incorporated, to save me from having to change equipment between spotting and getting a distance on a bird. So far all the ones I've seen seem to be aimed at hunters or golfers. Any recommendations?

Thanks for your help. Happy birding!
