Miranda is running a pilot mini-field course for Year 12 and 13 students, weekend of 19-21 March. It's a hands-on weekend, shorebird ID and ecology, netting and banding, with a forum of people working in allied fields, all with a view to getting these young people to think of careers working with wildlife, especially shorebirds.
