Birds BoP meeting 14 June at Tauranga

Our speaker for the next Birds BoP meeting will be Al Fleming

Al has an extensive history in Conservation circles, including being the former Central North Island Field Officer for Forest & Bird, plus several past roles within DOC.
Currently he can be found working on Tauranga Harbour as crew on Kewpie and also on ocean going Bay Explorer cruises, enlightening the passengers on the various seabirds seen.
It is in this capacity that Al will give his talk, detailing the various seabirds which can be seen just offshore from Mount Maunganui, and the wider Bay.

Come and join us for Al's talk at 7pm on Wednesday 14 June 2017. Meetings are held at the Tauranga Historical Society Hall, behind the Brain Watkins House, 233 Cameron Road, Tauranga. All are welcome. A gold coin donation to cover costs is appreciated.
