Rangiputa to North cape pelagic 10/2/24

Hi all,

Mathieu Poot and myself had an awesome day doing a self guided pelagic out from Rangiputa in Mat's boat. We departed from Rangiputa and went straight out to the deep water trenches and cruised our way up toward North cape from there.

We had a great variety of seabirds with the highlights being 1 Gould's petrel, 1 white-necked petrel and 23 black-winged petrel.
