Gannets at Muriwai

Was out at Muriwai on Thursday (13th Aug) testing a new lens. The Gannets are back in good numbers on both of the mainland nesting areas as well as the offshore sea stack and Oaia Island. Light offshore winds made for fairly unspectacular flying. A number of birds were busy carrying in nesting material.
