Spotless Crake - Gisborne - Innes St Pond

I took advantage of the lack of industrial noise today (there was still quite a bit), and played some spotless crake calls. Got a response.
As far as I can tell it's the first record from here. Russ tried Marsh Crake (successfully) and Spotless (unsuccessfully), in 2017.
I've tried a few times over the years but never had success (but also, without much actual commitment from me..).
(I didnt try marsh crake calls)

I had the 7 year old with me - she was also stoked to hear it.
