Sparrow?

Saw this bird at the Chch Botanic Gardens - do sparrows have a white morph? Sorry about quality of image, it seemed to keep tot he shadows, though other birds were feeding in the sun

looks like an albino to me - and that would account for it staying out of the sun

I believe that it is leucistic. Albino animals are entirely white, and have pink eyes.
Apparently, it is not uncommon for sparrows to have a fair amount of white on their wings, but for them to have this much white on their bodies is unusual.

the Sparrow is leucistic I would say
