Fiordland crested penguin, Castlepoint

Hi all

Wairarapa DOC staff have provided images of a very skinny pre-moult Fiordland crested penguin retrieved from Castlepoint today. It has been taken into care, as it clearly did not have the reserves required to survive the moulting fast.
