Black Stilts near Lake Tekapo

Dianne and I found a pair of Black Stilts on a small pond near Lake McGregor off Godley Peaks Road (they were banded). Other highlights of the day was a single Chukar on Mt John, a pair of Crested Grebe on Lake Alexandrina and at least one Falcon (maybe two) at the Clay Cliffs near Omarama.
