Laughing Gull - Norfolk Island

Yes, I know Norfolk Island is Australian (even if the Checklist Ctte doesn't!), but I wonder if this might be last year's bird on it's way back to Ohiwa? Found yesterday in Kingston, with excellent photos on Australian Twitchers facebook.
