Eight glossy ibis down the end of Swamp Road in Blenheim, in a farm paddock on left hand side almost at the end of the road. Birds wary of people on the road but not of the farmer himself working in the adjacent paddocks. Farmer invited me on to the farm for a closer look. Much appreciated.

Correction this is Dillons Point road. Some excellent viewing can been seen most afternoons in an irrigated paddock on left about 5 kms from town boundary. Look fro ewes and lambs and black backed gulls and you will see up to 9 glossy ibis.
