Late show in cuckoos

CCC ranger Matt Rose reports a shining cuckoo in his garden at Mount Pleasant, chch yesterday morning (24 march) at 10:00 silently feeding in a kowhai tree). Anyone else seen them in recent days.

I saw one today along Ridge Road near Lake ellesmere - flying across farmland.

Kia ora. I just saw a shining cuckoo in some bushes on the side of the road in Taupo. Nice close up views.
