Possible Kookaburra Napier Hill, Hawkes Bay

Just seen a post on Facebook on a Napier news page that two seprate sightings of a Kookaburra on the Napier hill, I dont know exact locations but they said they saw it eatting a praying mantis on there property and saw close enough to be able to tell the differences between it and a kingfisher.
There also isnt any photos and I dont know any more details but deffantly seems possible that it is a Kookaburra.
