Hmm, how'd that blurry thing get in the way? This is the last challenge for this round. Have a go to be in with a chance to win some binos.

The winner of the 2010-2011 ID Quiz will get one free place on a scheduled Wrybill Birding Tours, NZ pelagic trip, AND each person who enters this challenge goes into the draw to win a pair of Nikon Travelite V 8x25CF binoculars just for having a go, thanks to Photo & Video International.

I'll go for Skylark, which if correct, will likely just keep me in 2nd place and have me rueing the fact I didn't notice the quiz had started until the 2nd month.
But I don't think I would have got the Kookaburra right, even had I answered it...

Bar-tailed Godwit in case the last post didn't make it through (with low confidence).

This looks like a hiding Pectoral Sandpiper to me.

Looks like a Skylark to me - the jizz fits, seems too "warm" for a pipit, and the bill (what we can see of it) appears too heavy.

I really don't know but will go for a Japanese snipe as it appears to have a long bill and looks like one out of the book.
