Green gecko, Maungaraki, Lower Hutt

Postby Charlotte » Mon Jan 25, 2021 3:10 pm

We were lucky enough to see this little one sunning itself behind our lemon tree this afternoon. Thrilled to know that green geckos are still in our backyard, especially with all the cats in the neighborhood. Quite zoomed on the photos so not to disturb him/her too much, so a tad grainy.

I hope so as well Jim, we’ve been lucky to have them in the past, along with forest geckos.

That's a special critter to have in your garden. I hope it has a safe place there.

Thanks Neil. We hope so as well. Have seen another since posting this, but nothing since. So hope they are just doing their thing and enjoying the areas to sun and hide away in.
