Leopard Seal in Wellington

"A Leopard Seal spotted north of Wellington at a Kapiti beach has moved south.

After being spotted in Plimmerton last week, on Monday the seal was spotted at Titahi Bay in Porirua."

We spotted a leopard seal on a kayak tour this season on Sunday, ‎October ‎23, ‎2016. This is a first for this area to my knowledge. Our kayaking team were not keen to get back in the water until it had disappeared!
