Mystery Bird #5 The Answer

Postby sav » Tue Dec 22, 2009 3:29 pm

Hi everyone,

So you all got your wish and it is a passerine!! I dont think I need to go into too much detail because 21 out of 24 correspondents got the answer correct and I imagine the few that didn't will see the error of their ways once the true answer is revealed.

The bird is a juvenile European (Common) Starling.

Well done to those who got it right, bad luck and try again to those that didn't!
I need to go back throughh all the previous quizzes and check, but I think there are 2 or 3 of you that have got a 100% record so far - and I bet you know who you are!!
We will have to go for something more difficult next time.......

Merry Christmas

Hi Neil, would it be possible to have a message that one can see if the answer was received from the server or not?

Hi,
In case others are also wondering about this; you should see a message page like this to let you know your answer has been recieved successfully.

The page will redirect automatically, so if you are not watching you might miss it. If you are still worried that your entry might not be safely lodged, feel free to ask me or one of the Moderators and we can confirm it for you.

Thanks,
Neil.
