Pectoral Sandpiper + Semipalmated, Marquesas Islands

Postby Michael Szabo » Tue Nov 09, 2021 1:31 pm

A Pectoral Sandpiper and a Semipalmated Plover have been reported today with photographs via Facebook at the Marquesas Islands by TE MANU (Ornithological Society of French Polynesia).

The former was seen on 7/10/21 and the latter was seen on 5/10/21 in Omoa, Fatu Hiva, where it stayed at least until 7/10/21.

Interestingly, there is also currently a Semipalmated Plover in Brisbane.
