Streaked Shearwaters off Sydney coast

David Mitford reports via Facebook seeing Streaked Shearwaters passing south off the coast at Maroubra in Sydney yesterday. He says he saw 12 in just over 1 hour. With another tropical cyclone moving south from New Caledonia towards the Tasman Sea this is a species that could potentially occur in NZ waters...
