Hi all,
I received this video from Vilikesa Masibalavu (Vili) who works for Conservation International in Fiji - it shows a long-legged warbler chick in a nest in Central Viti Levu (near the Monasavu Dam). Long-legged warblers (endangered on IUCN's Red List) were known only from four specimens and a handful of unconfirmed sightings prior to surveys 2002-2005 (Birdlife International/Guy Dutson/Vili). So this is a remarkable record.

The search is still on for the red-throated lorikeet with forays into the Central Highlands (Nadarivatu and Monasavu).
