First record of Chatham Albatross in New Caledonia

Thomas Fontebasso photographed a Chatham Albatross about 30km south of Noumea at récif Toombo (Toombo reef) on 30th October. The bird was present on the water for an hour and a half and this was reportedly the first record of this species in New Caledonia:
