Another early wader search at Ellesmere on Sunday with Sam A, and Christian C. No many migrant waders out but was nice to see min of 120 wrybill and 50 banded dotterel as well as a glossy ibis. Checklist here https://ebird.org/atlasnz/checklist/S148186008

Bird counting at Chrystalls Bend, on Saturday was reasonably successful but I never saw the elusive Bellbird only heard them! I have visited the site six times searching for Bellbirds to photograph and I've only seen them once flying!
