I know I've done several post in a row.
What age group? 7-18?

Logo would need to be digital...

I think it would need to include birds and nz. Like the Idea!

I don't believe we need distinct adult fees, and club meetings, I think that should just go with OSNZ, with messages being distributed between clubs. As for our leaders, perhaps some issues go via OSNZ, and then the club is managed by a commitee of say six people, nominated by OSNZ members? I don't know really how that is going to work.

I think anyone under 18 should be encouraged through schools, but 7-18 seems a good target age.

I think the first year should be focused on getting members and support so for activities, just notify an OSNZ, KCC or Forest And Bird thing is coming up and encourage attendance for that. Then adult support will be needed when we have say 30 members from Christchurch and 30 from Dunedin etc. then we can go off for adventures, and perhaps even set up an annual conference somewhere, probably in a main center.

Oh and the Tomtit!! YES!! I love it!! It isn't over done like the Robin (via Black Robin) but it is still quite common. And are we on an agreement for that name, or should we just give it a bit more thought?

Yes.
We will also need to choose a website platform and pay for a domain if it works.!!!
I don't think we will get that many members. AU old has 9.

More thought.

Look at how many members KCC has? If they can do it so can we. And if I am wrong, who cares? I would just feel sorry for those who didn't join!!

I would think 1000+.
But they are a less specialist group with major supporters.
