If you want a great way to learn more about birds, try NZ Birds Online. I must warn you, it can get a little addictive (or maybe that's just me xD). If you don't mind me asking, whereabouts are you from? It would be cool to find some other YB's in your area.... pleasebeWaikatopleasebeWaikatopleasebeWaikato...

Of course I'd be the same as George, although sometimes I feel like I can't tell a Spoonbill from a spatula

Hey, thanks for the welcome!
Uggghr, sorry, Liam, I'm from Whangas XD:
Also, thanks for the website! ;D
We went to Zealandia a couple months ago, and me'n Dad did the night-tour as well. It was freakin' awesome!
Spoonbills are odd-looking, man. I don't think I'll be able to believe they're really real until a see one irl XD

Also, just while I'm getting the hang of this site, hehe, to what purpose do you report bird-sightings? (: Do you only report species rare to the area, or if the birds are doing something unusual, or just whenever anything interests you? c: Thanks! c:
