Had a quick visit to the Teetotal Sewage ponds yesterday evening.

Just a boring count of Welcome Swallow, Mallard and Parradise Shelducks as usual along with the bush and field birds.

New Zealand is up to 134 species now during those 4 days of the count. And I know a Chestnut-breasted Shelduck was seen at lake Ellesmere on Saturday. The guy who saw it only does naturewatch though.
