Hey guys!
Sorry for the delay. Another wader, and what I reckon is the toughest bird I've dished out. I had no idea what this bird was until I asked Ian Southey, who took the image, for help.
Just notes and a species for this one.

Re: Bird Quiz #9
New Zealand Dotterel Juvenile is my pick,
Ruled out Greater-Sand Plover based on bill size/head size relative to chunky large fat body coupled with grey-green legs and white on the cere/white edges to the brown feathers on the wing coverts/flanks of the neck. Or atleast i think thats the most likely candidate. Far too chunky for a GSP and not enough brown colouration/tall enough for a Oriental Plover, plus legs arent yellow.

Are you ok, Michael? Or have you been wiped off the face of the earth?
When are you putting us out of our misery with this one?
As it's just a funny foto, I reckon old funny answer will do. It's a PGP.

Alright, so seeing Michael's taking his sweet, sweet time i'll put everyone out of their misery!
This bird is actually a GREY PLOVER.
I'll let Michael chime in with why it is a bit later on.
Next one should come out soon
Cheers
