Tui? bird call Id

Tui? bird call Id

This sounded very slightly like a kokako to me but i really think its a Tui

Thoughts would be wonderful.

Hi Saul,

That's a tui. That repetitive, metallic call is quite common for them, but not for kokako. The location also makes kokako pretty unlikely.

Thanks Fraser i really thought it was tui but it seemed too metallic

Yes, it's definitely Tui. I checked Tui's sound on Wikipedia and it's very similar.
