Here is one for the "obviously incorrrect" afficionados. Radio New Zealand had a news item on 23 March headed "Scores of confused birds crash in Kaikōura, lighting blamed", a useful reminder of the problem of urban lighting faced by fledging Hutton's shearwaters as they head for the sea on their maiden flight (see
https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/ldr/486590/scores-of-confused-birds-crash-in-kaikoura-lighting-blamed]). But oh deary me, look at the photograph illustating the article and captioned "Hutton's shearwater, gliding wings outstretched, Kaikoura, New Zealand"

Anyone up for offering a picture of real Hutton's shearwater to RNZ, for future use?
To give Kaikoura and its citizens their due, they are making efforts to adjust the town's lighting, at least during the shearwaters' fledging period.
