The latest edition of the Birds New Zealand Otago region newsletter has been posted online with news of notable regional bird sightings, reports on recent field trips, the 2024 Royal Spoonbill census plus the branch's action-packed programme of activities for the rest of 2024 including field trips, surveys and speakers: https://www.birdsnz.org.nz/wp-content/u ... o-2409.pdf

The latest Birds New Zealand Wellington region newsletter is now online with the latest regional bird news, updates on Banded Dotterels, Little Penguins and North Island Brown Kiwi, and reports on recent speakers (including Colin Miskelly), the regional Royal Spoonbill survey and the last pelagic birdwatching trip. The next meeting will be tomorrow Monday 7th October from 7.30 pm - see the newsletter for more details:
