?Immature black-fronted tern

?Immature black-fronted tern

There were three black-fronted terns at Thornton today at the edge of the main white-fronted tern flock. Also this bird that looked more or less "with" one of the BFs. This isn't the sharpest photo, but it's the one that has the adult also showing for comparison. Am I right to assume it's an immature BF? Thanks.
