kaka in Christchurch?

Anyone heard about a recent sighting of a kaka near the Mt Vernon track? Is it still around, and if so, where was it seen more specifically?

There was one seen for a couple of days in Timaru. A month or so back.
Quite interesting to have 2 recent sightings in Eastern Canterbury as the area is a bit of a native bush-bird desert but kaka will fly long distances for food etc.
