If you're saying 'what?' about the large numbers of geese and ducks, this is what happens about now, they congregate in suburban waterbodies and other areas where shooting doesn't occur, such as the Lincoln Stormwater Wetland on Ellesmere Rd. See my ebird list from the other day - the place was heaving with waterbirds.
What is it like at Pegasus? Shooting starts first Sat in May.

There was an albatross on the list originally. I assume the mistake has been corrected now.

The image shows a Little Pied Shag, not Little Black Shag as reported. Hard to tell apart sometimes.

Considering the other birds seem to align well with the location, I don't see why a Red-necked Stint would be on a checklist for the Avon River near the Christchurch Hospital.

Looks like it was a mis... tap? I've done that a few times before.

Me too I have gone over my checklists and checked my note book to see If they match and have removed the incorrect observations (it happens a lot)

Especially when you rush :)
