Heres a good example of an incorrect list that doesn't have photos so I can't report it.

North Island Takahe (Porphyrio mantelli) (67)
- Reported Nov 05, 2022 07:56
- Western Springs Park, Auckland City, Auckland
- Map: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=p&z=1 ... 74.7232902
- Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S121873420

How does this stuff get through? 67 Takahe no less! And its still there incorrect. Who is checking this?

Please don't be a hater - just wish this stuff didn't get published in the first place and was not sent of a rare bird alert: Thanks to all the hard-working volunteer reviewers - you do a great job :)

Multiple sightings of White-necked (Pacific) Heron in NZ were reported around that time. Almost certainly one of these birds. https://nzbirdsonline.org.nz/species/pacific-heron

There’s no need, nothing much comes of posting them here.

No Mohua in the area, and much more likely to be kotuku rather than cattle egret at Mahinapua.
