https://ebird.org/checklist/S59170214 Tiritiri Matangi list that's almost certainly not just one location, as Scaup and Spotted Shag have never been reported there in recent history.

Made more suspect by the fact that they recorded 1 variable oystercatcher despite there being two in one photo
Same with Takahe...

Couple of things.

1) has Little Black Shags as Pied Shags (I've reported that already)
2) The checklist has been put an incidental, but by looking at how many species they've got on there and it included photos, it seems like this shouldn't be the case. Looks like a complete checklist to me.
Could someone check this please?

I couldn't help but share this one that lists:
"1 gull sp."
"1 tern sp." and
"12 bird sp."

I didn't even know the latter was an option

Here's a slightly obscure one from 1986 for you. The image of the "chukar" looks like a red-legged partridge and the "swamphen" is a takahe

Here's a strange one from the Tongariro River Delta:

1 Variable Oystercatcher
1 Pacific Golden-Plover
1 Bar-tailed Godwit
1 Caspian Tern
1 White-faced Heron
1 New Zealand Fantail
