Hauraki Gulf non-pelagics

Hi all – I've been unable to find a pelagic for this part of the coast for my November trip to NZ, and booking a charter is too much of a financial risk for the only day I'm available (29 Nov), a weekday (not to mention a logistical bind). I figured I might take the slow car ferry to Great Barrier or one of the eco-tours that visits Little Barrier or the Mokohinaus. Does anyone with experience of these know which might be the best for connecting with the more hard-to-see birds. It's all a gamble, I know ...

All the regular birding companies are not running that day, unless you know different ...
