WINTER 2023 : The Petrel Station pelagic seabird tours (offshore from Tutukaka, Northland, New Zealand).

Here's The Petrel Station pelagic seabird tour dates for winter 2023:
– 19 June (Monday) - WORLD ALBATROSS DAY – only 2 places left
– 8 July (Saturday) – TRIP FULL
– 6 August (Sunday)
– 23 August (Wednesday)
– 4 September (Monday)

The colder, winter months are when the albatross and a mix of southern seabirds come north up to our area, and we’ve had some real winter rarities show up. Past visitors have included Blue Petrel, Pink-footed Shearwater, 4 Prion species to name a few so there’s no telling what could turn up. The local winter breeding seabirds are also around in good numbers too.

Get in touch if you’re keen for a great day out with some stunning seabirds - The best way to experience these seabirds is out on the ocean, in their world :)

WINTER IS HERE :)
Well winter is now upon us and it's a fantastic time of year to get out on the ocean and see some stunning winter seabirds. The winter months are when the albatross species and a mix of southern seabirds come up north, and we’ve had some real winter rarities show up at The Petrel Station. Past visitors include Blue Petrel, Pink-footed Shearwater, Providence Petrel, 4 Prion species to name a few so there’s no telling what could turn up. The local winter breeding seabirds are also around in good numbers as well.

$50 OFF ALL WINTER TOURS
AND ... to celebrate the new website we're knocking $50 OFF the price of all our winter 2023 pelagic seabird tours out to The Petrel Station ... NOW $225 (normally $275). There's a whole bunch of winter seabird tours from 19 June through to 4 September 2023, so check out the website for upcoming dates and lots of seabird info:
http://www.thepetrelstation.nz

The offer is for a limited time on any booking made by 30.06.23, so make sure you get yourself a deal.

PS ... The 23rd August winter tour is my birthday and will be going regardless so join me for a great day out and hopefully something extra special will show up, plus there'll probably be a giant sized Ginger Crunch on that day too :)

Cheers

Hi all

Just cancelled this weekend's seabird pelagic out to The Petrel Station (due to high winds). I've rescheduled the trip to Monday 17th July and now have some spare spaces, so please get in touch if you’re keen for a great day out with some stunning seabirds.

Cheers
