Picked up a flyer at the Isaac Theatre Royal today where my daughter was performing in a junior choir.

From my point of view it's a shame it's only in Wellington, but looks interesting.

Hmm so the idea is to illuminate an important piece of bush at night "through ingenious use of light, sound and moving sculpture" to emphasise the importance of that piece of bush to birds!

Do the "artists" appreciate what 1000s of people + "light, sound and moving sculpture" at night might do to the resident populations of birds?

At least its not during the breeding season but I imagine that's through chance not design.
