Hi folks, looking for people interested in joining me for a Chatham Island trip 28 December to 3 January. Focus on birds, plants, beaches and historic sites.

Is that by boat? Do you have a rough estimate of cost?

I'd be keen depending on the cost and areas we had access to to see the birds

Birds you could get on public land would be Chatham and Pitt Island shag, Weka, Parea, Chatham Oystercatcher and potentially Chatham warbler, if going close to outer islands in a boat then a good chance of Shore plover, Brown skua and Chatham Albatross as well, and plenty of other seabirds.
