December pelagics
Is anyone aware of any North Island pelagics/charters in December this year - hoping to see Pycroft's and Grey Noddy. Thanks!

Hi Sean, there are some posted here:
http://wrybill-tours.com/pelagic-trips/
Whitianga is your best bet for Pycroft's whereas the ternlets are a good bet from late Dec onward in the Hauraki Gulf trips.
**For cheaper cost-share trips (Like the ones out of Tutukaka), you'll need to wait a little longer for posted dates though there should be some. Ternlets are usually seen on those trips and there is a chance of Pycroft's off Tutukaka (Poor Knights) as well.
Alternatively, it is not difficult to organise your own charter out of Tutukaka, Sandspit, Whitianga, Tairua etc (through regular fishing charters)--then post here to try and gather a group. Outside of Kaikoura, NZers generally typically have to organise their own trips if they want to get out!
Good luck,
Russ
