The forums are currently few and simple. Hopefully the number of threads will sky-rocket and we will be better off with a few more categories. Maybe a separate Trips forum for general trip reports and notifications of available space on cost-share trips, another for ID help, maybe even regional chapters.
Just something to keep in mind as the site grows. Feel free to drop your thoughts here.

I'm thinking the most useful addition to the board would be a separate forum for rare bird alerts. By subscribing to this forum members will be able to quickly get info on these often ephemeral events, without cluttering their inbox with background chatter. Exactly when such a forum is launched will depend on when the moderators agree the number of rare bird posts warrants it.
