Last year I traveled through the Northern Territory and Tropical Queensland and was blown away by the bird life, especially the raptors.
To my mind it's of a greater variety, more easily accessed, and for most of us, easier to see than birds in other areas of the South Pacific.
I'm planning another Aussie expedition, from Perth to Darwin, then across to Cairns, and wish there were a section in this forum that covered this topic.
I'm sure many of us have crossed the Ditch and have have great experiences there.
Anyone know of an Australian forum like this?
Australian Birding.

I've heard it's a fantastic place for birds, and hope to get up there some time. If there was some interest I would gladly make a new (Australia?) section.
As well as the list and site Byrd mentioned, Birdforum will have aa Aus section.
