Changing your username

You don't have to use your real name as your username when you register. It was a conscious decision to allow this. There may be many reasons for wanting to have some degree of anonymity. Shyness in front of an audience of ‘experts’ perhaps. However, using your real name is often appreciated by other members, and you might find you get more from the community if you give people your real name.
You can’t change your own existing username, but I can do it for you. So, if you ever have a change of heart and decide you would like to step out into the light and stand behind your real name, just flick me a Personal Message or email (links over on the left of this post, as always).
