Re: Daily Digest
Again!? And the times are still wrong! It worked on my test board. Apparently I didn't apply the patch to the live board correctly. Sorry, I'll get there in the end.

Re: Daily Digest
Not sure if it is intentional or not, but the email address is also shortened to BirdinNZ.net.

Re: Daily Digest
And I've tried (twice now) to stop the digests without success. Followed: User Control Panel / Digests / Basics / Type of digest wanted (Clicked ‘None’) / Submit
Each time I go back to the UCP, ‘None’ is still checked, but I continue to get the digests. And today's was individually addressed to Alan Shaw (and contained more code).
A few gremlins still hidden away in there by the look of it...

Re: Daily Digest
Yes, I noticed that with todays message to the email group. This is very strange behaviour. Not great.
I checked your settings and the system tells me you have unsubscribed successfully. It also tells me you were not sent any emails. I think the emails you are getting are from the Yahoo group, so you might still be subscribed to that list?
The yahoo email listserver is subscribed to the digests so that those people who do not participate in the website forum, but do get the old yahoo emails can still benefit.

Re: Daily Digest
There are quite a few folk still subscribed to the yahoo list so please don't stop them getting the digest, just stop the codespeak at the start of each digest.
Thanks,

Some of you may be wondering where the links to email of private message
(PM) a member have gone. They are still there, just a little more hidden
than before. Look for the three dots after "Contact" in the persons profile
details. Click on the dots to show all the contact options that member has
allowed, then select the one you want.
Remember, you can turn on and off which options people can see to contact
you via your User Control Panel. Email and PM have yes/no switches, and
other things like websites or facebook pages will be turned on if you put a
valid address in the appropriate place. There are now lots of options here,
so by putting them behind the "..." prevents the profile space from being
too cluttered.
Also, it is highly recommended that you don't put your email address into
the body of a post message. If you do that there is a very high chance that
a spammer will collect your address and at some stage you will find your
email inbox filling up with spam, or worse. The contact links are not
visible to non registered members until they have posted at least one
approved post (i.e. there is a good chance they are a decent, real human).

Re: Daily Digest
Every way I test, it works correctly. Only seems to get messed up when it goes to Yahoo...
Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
