Jenny Edwards reports seeing these 3 Australian Gull-billed Terns together at Motueka Sandspit last Saturday with Nelson Regional Representative Mark Edwin Ayre, hanging out on the edge of a flock of godwits.

All three Australian Terns were present yesterday, tirelessly flying up and down along the inner sandspit.

Three Aussie GB terns seen today from the shipwreck at Moteuka Quay, at low tide. Other birds of note were red knot and banded dotterel.

Saw 1 bird yesterday 11th June roosting alone.
