Just been sent an image by Lloyd Blakie of the Common Greenshank which is currently at Riverton Estuary.

Good spotting! Now if only we weren’t in the middle of a pandemic Id have driven down today :lol:

Searched for the Greenshank for a couple of hours at high tide yesterday with no luck, unfortunately. 38 bar-tailed godwits were present, presumably overwintering.
